"We worked with Paul Hurrell and his team in 2018 on our two story rear and side extension to our family home. We are delighted with the build and as importantly the engagement we had with the team. We developed a great relationship with the whole team during the build and trusted their judgement and advice (we miss them!). They gave helpful and clear guidance when we had questions or asked for changes to our plans. They were committed to the best outcome for us and gave us confidence from our initial planning stage through to completing the work. The team worked onsite everyday, six days a week and did everything possible to complete in the fastest time possible. Paul liaised with utility companies to great effect when issues arose during the build, saving us stress and ensuring a good outcome. He drew on his network of trusted trades for aspects of our work and we were very pleased with those results and the way the teams worked together. Freddie's carpentry added decorative detail and essential storage and we are thrilled with his work. "Paul has just completed two new flats & a major house refurbishment for us in Oxford. The job went really well, with it coming in on time & within budget. The whole team were totally professional, with all trades willing to suggest ideas or alternatives in order to improve the job. We found them all to be totally trustworthy & a pleasure to work with. We didn't have any issues with bad language or noisy radios, and the team were always cheerful & willing to help. We didn't have an architect to oversee the works, & I did a lot of the communication by telephone and visited regularly. Paul was always available on the phone at all times of the day & would return any missed calls. With major works it is usual for neighbours to be apprehensive but Paul allayed their fears from the start. The site was always kept tidy & disruption kept to a minimum. The neighbours have since praised his work. We would wholeheartedly recommend Paul & his team, and have complete trust in his workmanship. As with all good builders he is booked up in advance but the wait is well worth it!"

Communication is easy, costs are transparent
"Paul has made two major changes to my house. The loft conversion involved a new dormer, new stairs, and a new bathroom, which are still very satisfactory after 12 years. The latest project, an extension and new kitchen, meant that almost everything in the house, and some things outside it, were changed and brought up to date, and we're very pleased with all of it. Paul also organised insulation under the floors and round the outside of the whole house. The reason I chose Paul to do the work was that I had seen what a considerate team he runs. Communication is easy, costs are transparent, the work is done well. And they made sure that even when walls were being demolished and the floor was being dug up, and everything was in chaos, we could still use the cooker, sink and washing machine - sometimes in strange places, but that just made it more interesting."
Kitchen Rebuild and Loft Conversion
"Paul and his team did a stunning job on our house: a major rebuild of the kitchen with underfloor heating and a big loft conversion with the same. They really showed a lot of care over the details, like getting the corners of our new fireplace perfectly aligned with the oak floor. What was also great was their flexibility (we changed the loft plan several times and they just kept working with us, adding ideas). Paul's an approachable, friendly guy who takes pride in doing quality work; we've recommended him to other people and wouldn't think twice about calling on him again."
